As the internet brings us into a more connected world, we as a society have access to great new tools and information. Geography and place is another great connection point for people to learn and talk with each other. Bringing friends, family, co-workers and like minded people together when learning about an area or planning a trip is powerful. Sites like google maps, yahoo maps, bing maps have just begun to usher in our new social work. We at MapExploria hope to bring people closer together and get the most out of the little things in life.

After laboring for quite a while the first baby is almost ready to be delivered. Two of my most favorite topics in the world are wine and maps. We have been scouring for the very best in winery data and related places in these regions. We invite you to explore a wine country region and would love to hear your feedback on what you liked, didn't like and would like to see in the future.
MapExploria was founded on the simple premise that planning trips are more fun when they are enriched with relevant geo and social data. We are all explorers in life and maps provide a basis for connecting us where our passions overlap. We are using this site as a blog to follow map topics, trends, interesting uses of maps, and also to showcase some our own interactive map sites.
Let's lead the next generation of online world exploration together.
